Vibro hammer PTC 130 HD

The vibro hammers available for rent at Foundiz are specially designed for use in combination with a crane or piling equipment. With these vibro hammers, piles and sheet piles can be vibrated into the ground or reclaimed by extraction. The foundation elements can be picked up by means of a chain, grommet, or special lifting tools to then be gripped with the powerful hydraulic clamp. Once properly clamped, the foundation element can be driven into the ground using high-frequency vibrations. When used free-hanging in a crane, the vibro hammer exerts downward pressure with its own weight, allowing the foundation element to be driven into the ground even faster with this extra downward force. If the vibro hammer is used leader-guided in piling equipment, an additional downward force can also be exerted using a so-called pull-down force, causing the foundation element to sink faster or allowing firm soil layers to be passed more easily. Numerous other foundation techniques can be realized with hydraulic vibro hammers, such as deep compaction, vibrating auxiliary casings for drilling work, and installing vertical barriers in the soil.
