The vibro hammers available for rent at Foundiz are specifically designed for use in combination with a crane or piling equipment. These vibro hammers allow piles and sheet piles to be vibrated into the ground or recovered by extraction. Foundation elements can be picked up using a chain, grommet, or special lifting tools, then secured with the powerful hydraulic clamp. Once properly clamped, the foundation element can be driven into the ground using high-frequency vibrations. When used free-suspended from a crane, the vibro hammer exerts downward pressure with its own weight, allowing the foundation element to be driven into the ground even faster with this additional downward force. If the vibro hammer is used leader-guided in piling equipment, an additional downward force can also be applied using a so-called pull-down force, causing the foundation element to sink faster or allowing firm soil layers to be penetrated more effectively. Numerous other foundation techniques can be realized with hydraulic vibro hammers, such as deep compaction, vibrating auxiliary casings for drilling, and installing vertical barriers in the soil.
